A gala reception was held in the early 1980’s at Spice Island Inn in honor of international movie actor, producer, author Sir Peter Ustinov and his wife Helene. Among the dignitaries at that reception were: – Sir. Eric Matthew Gairy former Prime Minister of Grenada. Sir. Royston Hopkin & his late wife Floreen, among the other guest was Desmond Campbell & wife Charlotte.
